31 Degrees and I feel fine. I feel fine was in my head like REM, The End Of the World As We Know It song (not the Beatles I feel fine..)
HA! I woke up this morning to a 31 degree temperature and while I feel so happy that there is a blue sky and sun out, it’s a little harder to feel overly happy about the temperature being at freezing. BUT I digress. I love this time of year and it puts me right in the holiday mood.
Speaking of holiday mood, I figured out a cool way to give more information to you guests that are staying in our amazing St. Paul nieghborhoods. We put all of our favorite local places to shop and then also asked our community facebook group where we should be sending our guests and THEY ANSWERED. I think we have left no stones unturned with all of the cool local shops in Mac Grove, Highland Park, Summit University & Cathedral Hill!
Check out our interactive map here: Local Shopping
You can choose the house you are staying at and if it seems reasonable to walk to drive. We also revamped Twin Cities Best page to have this interactive map as well.
I love the start of holiday season and getting to find small, locally made or sourced places to shop for my people. I am hoping you might enjoy that too and opt for some neat local gifts and not just the stuff from the big box stores :)
